I am having a warm time getting my Money2001 file to work properly in
Money2002 on an XP system. Here are what I'm having problems with:

    1. I can't remove the password on the file. When I go through the process
of removing the password, I get no error messages. However, when I reopen
the file it still prompts for a password.

    2. I can't change the password. Even though I type the correct old password
then a new password, and confirm it. When the file is reopened it still
    requires the old password.

    3. MS Passport won't setup properly. I believe this is probably also
    password related.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thx

Boy, does MS's online Money support suck. I can't find anything about your problem, but then I can't find anything about the program out there. I did see a tip recommending that for the conversion to work, you should back up your 2001 file in 2001, and choose to restore a file in 2002. Which will then, supposedly, convert the file correctly?
