I have a Dell Optiplex 760. My 12 year old monitor is going on the fritz. I want to replace it with a new one but the better ones seem to have an HDMI connector. I do not see an HDMI connector on the back of my PC but is there an available adapter I can get or is an HDMI monitor not compatible? Thank you!!

    Hello and welcome to TSG!!

Depending on the model, the output choices may differ, but the one model I looked at shows a Display Port video output. If so, there are monitors that may have Display Port inputs available. Alternatively, cables are readily available to connect Display Port to HDMI.

You may be limited in the choice of compatible Monitors by the Graphics resolution the PC can provide.
