I am curious as to why my monitor constantly flashes between intervals. This is definitely related to my new graphics card, the ASUS EN9400GT with 1GB video ram, being installed onto my ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe mobo. What happens exactly is that after installing the new graphics card the monitor once in a while would constantly flash several times, being extremely annoying to me. I used to have a 8600GTS with 256MB of video ram with no problems. The difference between the two graphics would be the ram and the inclusion of this massive heat sink. the EN9400GT only has a fan on it.

Another note is that my father has the EN9400GT on his computer now with a motherboard that is a new model. He doesn't seem to have any other problems at all. Also I have tried updating the nVidia software and it still didn't resolve the issue when i had the EN9400GT.

    Why is this so?
