Monitor problem

    my monitor makes a weird buzzing noise after it has been on for a few hours. How can I stop it. I have an older monitor Any suggeestions????

    Go to start/settings/control panel/display/settings/advanced button/adapter, check if it's set for optimal or adapter defualt. If it's set to optimal I would try it on adapter default.

    Other than that, it sounds the the monitor is getting ready for the grave yard if it is older. Whine could only be a bad refresh rate which the above should fix, of a horz or vert oscillator getting ready to go.
