Monitor problems

    i have the problem of my monitor keeps disconecting itself and i have to restart the comp to get my monitor back, this happens about every 10 - 20 mins
    i have a AOC monitor

    Go into your desktop properties and under screen savers in the power tab change the monitor to never shut down.

    I have done that but it still does it.

    my monitor goes in stanby mode ( the green led goes red) and when i switch it back on it says the monitor is not connected. until i reboot my computer.

    Your not set up on hibernation are you? You can check the same area for that.

    P.S. Turn them all on to never including the standby box.
