I have a 95 Gateway w/pentium 2 256 mb ram. e-4200 cpu and ev500 monitor. The pages on the screen have become concave and the screen control on the monitor does not control it anymore or has not effect. Do I need to get another monitor or can something be done?

New monitor should to the trick. I would recommend an LCD flat-panel monitor, because you dont need to adjust those kinds of settings, and no screen flicker...

There are many more, but I just selected a few...
