okay well i have a Windows XP and a Windows vista, the xp was really slow and old, so seeing as there was wayy to many things i had to clear up for it to speed up(had 5 accounts on it, all with their junk) so i just reformatted it.

problem: the old dell monitor i used with the xp before i got vista, doesnt work on my computer. but the one the vista is connected to(if i switch the DVI cables) works on my xp.. so its not my PC's problem im guessing. but the monitor says its in power save mode, but then if i switch to the DVI monitor, i can use the computer perfectly. should i just get a new monitor?
