I'm unable to change the resolution of the monitor in the 'Settings' option in control panel 'Display' page. Searching the Microsoft database I find thre could be incorrect information in the Monitor's EDID (Extended Identification Data). How to correct this problem?

What is the make and model of both your monitor and video card?

OK Just give me a little more info. Is this something new? Are the drivers for your video card installed? Is your video card listed as working in Device Manager?
