Monitor shuts off during Diablo

    When ever i play Diablo or any other game it runs smoothly for about 30 minutes and the monitor shuts off and theres no sound but the computer is still on. I bought my computer a few months ago so i dont know what the problem is. Here are my specs.

    OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 42 Stepping 7
    Processor Count: 4
    RAM: 8170 Mb
    Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6670, 1024 Mb
    Motherboard: Intel Corporation, DH61WW

    Sounds like the video card is overheating. Any messages appear? Can you check the temps? If not you can download this small program to tell you everything about your computer along with temps.

    ok well, usually when its about to freeze the it shows the message "display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" and my temperature is 33C

    33 is not that high so must be something else.

    Maybe the culprit is staring you right in the face :)........maybe the monitor.....overheating....just plain getting ready to go out....Thats my two coppers

    well i got my monitor with my computer so i dont think thats the problem, and i dont think the sound would stop because i use headphones

    I would start by updating all drivers....video driver, sound card driver (if applicable), chipset drivers....
    Did you build the system or is it a boxed PC.....either way start with updating all drivers. I assume you mean Diablo 3 when you say Diablo. I have not ot a chance to play it yet or see the specs on it ....im sure they are high.....But yeah, just start with a full system update of drivers.

    All of my drivers are up to date, it wasn't custom built. and all of the specs are on the lowest
