My monitor only makes this very annoying noise when I play Diablo. If I touch the corner of the monitor it stops. What could be causing this??
Thanks

bb- Would you describe this problem as a high frequency noise?

If it is, your refresh rate could be set too high. Go into control panel and under display>settings, click the advanced button and then click the monitor tab. My monitor refresh rate is set to 75 Hertz. If I up that setting to 85 Hertz, I get that intermittent high frequency noise. If I change the setting to 60 Hertz, my monitor strobes.

Anyway, you may want to check this out.

Don't know.

Did I accurately describe your problem....or is it something else?

bb- I'm almost afraid to ask, but was the sound eliminated when you changed your refresh rate settings?
