Hey everyone... I could use some advise on buying a new monitor. The monitor I'm currently using is pretty bulky and has mediocre display quality so I'm looking to get a new LCD monitor. I'm going to be heading to computer show to see if I can get a good deal on one next weekend. I was wondering whether anyone here had some tips or suggestions of what I should look for. I appreciate the help. Thanks

If you do a lot of gaming avoid LCDs. Their pixel rates are slower than CRTs, which means a lot of ghosting (blur).

Hmmm... I hadn't considered that... although I don't do as much gaming as I used to, I'll still have to keep that in mind. Thanks. Anyone have anything else?
