I was wondering if there was any way to convert wavs from layer 3(mono) to Mp3's.
The error message I keep getting on many programs is "the mono wav can not be encoded to stereo mpeg"

I don't think you can convert a mono wav file
to mp3. You will probably have to convert the
wav file to either cd quality or stereo and it should let you convert to mp3 then.

You can just use windows sound recorder to do that. just open a wav file with sound recorder then click file, then properties, then click on convert now. There you can choose the format and attributes. Then just click on file and save.
