Mother board and Ram

    DX48BT2 is the board i'm looking at getting and wonder if i should go with ddr2 or ddr3 Ram how much of a difference is it and is there other types of ram that would to a good job ..wanting it for ultimate gaming

    DDR3 comes with high clocks but also with price and high latency. So, high quality DDR2 would(COULD in some occasions) still outdo DDR3. To a point, latencies can determine the performance more than clocks.

    This would be true to a point but over 1066 ram the Ddr3 would be faster but yes it is a lot more expensive.
