mother board clarification

    i several times installed XP in my computer never used mother board cd, what is need of mother board cd, and how to use it?

    The CD would often have drivers for the onboard devices - have a read here http://www.playtool.com/pages/chipsetdrivers/chipset.html such as AGP, North/southbridge, Sound, Video, networking etc etc
    The motherboard manufacturer often have the drivers available on the support website - so you can download them
