Would any AM2 motherboard be able to replace my current fried one (with an AM2 chip)?

With all the parts working. So just take out all the parts and put it in the new motherboard.
The CPU (3800+ X2) is AM2. Current motherboard is A8M2N-LA.

If you are talking about even having the Installed os working then you wouuld have to replace it with an Identical Motherboard. Is this possibly An HP or Compaq computer? That Motherboard Model Number does not match anything on the Asus site, which is why I asked about the system manufacturer. It is a common board base for HP/Compaq computers though.
