Would someone recommend a good motherboard for Intel Core 2 Quad processor please? I am not interesting in gaming but would like to have a good computer for business and home. Thanks.

I've used this board with good results;

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121052

Compatible Pentium D, Pentium 4, and Celeron D are located here;

Compatible Core 2 Duo's and Core Quads are located here;

http://processormatch.intel.com/CompDB/SearchResult.aspx?Boardname=dg965wh

I have used 1Gb. of this memory with no problems whatsoever;

Of course you can add more memory if you need more than 1Gb. If you plan on running Vista, I would kick the memory up to 2Gb.

I like this board because it offer's integrated Intel high definition audio and integrated video. If you want to kick the video up a notch, the board accepts PCI-e video cards. Both the integrated audio and video are very sufficient for home or office use.

You would need to click on the triangle next to the processor you are interested in on this link; http://processormatch.intel.com/CompDB/SearchResult.aspx?Boardname=dg965wh

Buy the board first, then get the processor with the sSpec number that is compatible with your board revision.

Thank you all for suggestions, but I am more interested in using the Core 2 Quad (Q6600) than the Core 2 Due. Has anyone used the Intel MoBo with any Core 2 Quad processors?
Thanks.
