I recently purchased a Razer Lachesis mouse and it was perfect at first but as of the past week or 2 its been acting up. It'll be working fine then while i'm moving the mouse around the cursor just randomly moves straight down about an inch on my screen. I have the drivers installed and up to date, i'm assuming my best bet is to just return the mouse and get a new one.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue before?

You would want to try to blow any possible dust and dirt out from the hole where the lens is.

Yeah, i've tried that but it doesn't seem to be the issue.

Well, then there's something wrong with the mouse's tech, I'd guess. So, try returning it and try out the new, post the results. Best of luck.
