Hi, I have two problems with my mouse, so I need some assistance.
I have a wireless ps/2 five buttons mouse. Everything worked perfectly when I used it in the ps/2 port. I recently bought a new laptop which does not has one though. So I had to connect it to a USB port using a ps/2 to USB adaptor cable. The mouse seems to be working fine, left and right click and the wheel work perfect but the two side buttons (back and forward) are not working. I tried installing the mouse's software but that didnt work too. I was wodering maybe the cable cannot support all the neccessary functions.
The second problem that I face is that after I put the laptop in hibernation mode and get out of it the mouse is not working at all. The only solution is to take off the USB plug and put it back in. The everything is back to previous condition.
If anyone has any ideas please give them.
    Thanks alot.

Try entering bios and enabling Mouse USB support.
