First time posting here so hoping I do not mess up...

Anyway, my question is about controlling the speed of a mouse that is used on a system that has no settings panel for it. To expand that, I have a Security DVR setup that has mouse support but no keyboard support and all control has to be done with the mouse. Unfortunately, the mouse is way to fast for me and with the embedded firmware, no way to slow it.

Curious if they make a mouse that has a built in physical adjustment for the speed, or some kind of inline control to put between the mouse and USB port that could do this.

    Not that I've ever seen.

Speed control is always done within the OS.

Good question. The system is from zositech.com and being a really cheap chineseium product, im guessing its some in-house kinda OS, if it really is anything like an OS.
