Mouse versus Printer

    I have a PS/2 mouse and an HP-930 colorjprinter. When the printer prints, the mouse stops until the print job is complete. This never happened until I upgraded to XP.

    HP support blames it on XP and vice-versa. I had a Canon that allowed me to stack documents in the print queue and continue on without any delays. Help!!

    Running XP-home ed., AMD 1.2 Gig with 512 meg

    Per chance, is the mouse and the printer on the same IRQ?
