Check the system requirements for that particular game -- it may not have been designed for Windows 7.

Typing will not move the mouse on any computer.

That said, some machines (laptops) have a touch pad and all keyboards have the directional keys which will move the mouse cursor around.

What keys are you using, expecting the mouse cursor to move around?

Is this at all times or just with the game running?

If it is just when the game is running, then there is problems with the drivers within the game program. You need to contact the OEM of this game or go to their online support.

I still do NOT understand how you expect the use of the keyboard to move your mouse around.

When typping in the letters w a s d, should only display the letters, unless you have a specal program which you must involk for it to work.

Then it is definitely a program with the game software.

What he is saying is that while using WASD, his mouse does not work.

The game is like WoW or any other FPS where you use WASD to move around but the mouse to look around. The mouse is not working.

tomc698: Do you have an external mouse to try? That would be my first step. Also check for updated drivers.
