    windows xp , my mouse darts all over the screen for no reason at all, very difficilt playing games, can you help

    What type of mouse do you have? If its optical on what type of surface are you using it?

    i have a basic optical mouse USB/PS2 Compatible 5v 100mA microsoft made in china[N]. No matter what surface i use problem is still their

    It somtimes hapens with optical mice that the optical camera starts to malfunction and basicly the mouse then gives mixed signals to your computer have you tried replacing the mouse with a new one?

    make sure there aint any dirt or some thing on the optic. mine did that once, and when i looked at it, it had a small hair on it. i blew it clean with a can of air and it fixed it.

    have opted for a new mouse. optical intellimouse*explorer 4.0 have used for 2days now & no probs THANKS
