My Divx player is absolutely refusing to play My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I have the latest version from Divx.com and it still doesn't play.

The file name ends in a avi. can that be the problem?

    Hi cowswithguns

Despite having the latest version of DivX you might still not have the right codec. I would suggest a visit to Moviecodec.com; link as follows -

    http://moviecodec.com/

Here's an excerpt from their Avi link -

"If you try to play an AVI file which was compressed using a codec that is not currently installed on your system the program might only tell you that the codec was not found - and not tell you which codec that is missing (Windows Media Player being an example of this)".

The rest of the article can be found here -

    http://www.moviecodec.com/identifycodec/avi.shtml

The site provides assistance with identification of codecses (is that the correct pluralisation?) and also downloads.

    Hope it helps
