movies crashing

    when ever i play any movie (a full length film) about 5 min in to the movie my computer just restarts. it doesn't matter where i start it it will happen. it doesn't happen Whit small clips though like music vids and such only the full films i have. why is this? :confused:

    it happens when i use any program, the ones i do use are wmp9, and 6, divx and winamp. could it be a codec issue?

    could be a codec or your 32mb video card...could also be an OS bug or you have a virus or spyware that is eating up your memory resources

    Have you checked the Device Manager for any yellow !'s or ?'s ? Maybe we can eliminate hardware as the culprit.

    there is one !/? its a blaze media video thing / under the dispaly adapters( i have never heard of this hardware, it poped up after i upgraded to winxp

    Right click on that "blaze media video thing"and select properties,on the General tab,what does it say?Just so you know, this is your display driver and is most likely your whole problem.

    i am not at my computer right now, but i also have my radeon display dirver next to the blaze one.

    on the blaze media is says device canot start
