Hi and welcome.

I've only just got Nero so I'm still tinkering. You're trying to convert DVD (which uses avi uncompressed dv files) to vcd (which uses mpeg compressed files). Can nero do this? If not you may have to use another software to compress 1st. Post back if you need more info.

If you are usingt Nero, then go to http://www.ahead.de and download the free update to nero 1st, then download the nerovision express, it will hold your hand and makes copying dvd to vcd a doddle

Sorry but you are wrong. They are vague notes at Nero, there is little to no support and the people most of all Juan Garcia is rude and does not know a thing about that product. he acuses all three of my computers of being the problem but not that software which I have never gotten to work. it is a waste of money and you will not gte a refund. They are ripoffs. Very few people are able to figure it out.
