Moving Programs

    After I have the Hard drive partioned, I would like to copy some of my programs from the old drive to the new drive. Is ther anyway of doing this with out have the program disk, IE microsoft Office... Quickbooks, I have the old drive hooked up via removeable drive case through the USB.

    Programs have to be registered and also have to be registered with Windows as to where they actually are. If you want to have a particular program to be installed on another hard drive there always is a portion installed on Drive C:. What you are going to have to do is re-install the programs so they are on the other drive, if the computer was setup with the programs installed on another drive other than drive C: and the other drive was the same designation as the new one all you would theoretically do is just copy the old drive to the new one.
