I have Mozilla Firefox installed and has been using it for awhile without any problems. Yesterday I updated the site and now when I open Firefox it's just a blank page. No errors are displayed. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it's still the same. The Internet Exlporer works but I rather use Firefox. Please help me.

Tools, options, general Tab, is your Home page location "about:blank" ?

if so, change it to a page you prefer. (or about:blank for faster opening time)

Try changing you home page and close FF and open it again.

But I have my own homepage on my PC because it opens sooo much faster.

First try running Firefox in safe mode.
    Start> Mozilla Firefox> Mozilla Firefox(Safe Mode).
This runs it with the default theme and without any extensions. If it opens correctly,
then it is an extension or theme effecting Firefox.
If that doesn't work, create a new profile. When you uninstall Firefox, it doesn't delete
    your profile folder.

Check your firewall program list settings. Your firewall sees the updated version as a new program and you need to give it permission to access the internet. I use Zone Alarm and have to do that whenever I upgrade Firefox or other programs that change version number. Hope that works.

When was the last time you rebooted your computer?

To the person who says Firefox sucks, well all of the browsers suck.

    amen to that.

But firefox is a great browser. It is the default broswer for macs, widely used in linux (most flavers come with it), and is popular with windows. Much faster and securer then IE.

IE is flawed. The whole ActiveX thingy opens so many securty problems, as well as it being a slow browser.

I have no comment for Opera as I have never used it.
