You need a better argument than a 5 year-old blog entry. A lot's changed in computing since then.

This is a direct contradiction to your statement. What exactly are you aiming at?

I personally have used Mozilla Firefox since it's first release, and have never had any problems with it slowing down my computer (it's always been faster than any other browser I have used) , and my computer specs aren't much to talk about.

Dude Firefox is awesome. There is a reason why it is one of the highest rated browsers on the Internet. I run it on 10 different machines (all different specs) and have never had any problems with it. Plus there are millions of addons for it also. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe there might be something else on your computer causing the issues. It's like putting XP on an old intel machine with 32MB memory, and then claiming that it's slow. Maybe your computer just sucks.

No application is perfect. Firefox does use a pretty sizable chunk of memory. That's been a criticism for a while. That means it may not run optimally on an underpowered system.

If you've got some legitimate concerns or problems with Firefox, then talk about it. If you came to pick a fight, I'll unsubscribe from the thread and let it go.

Mozilla seems to take a while to load up when i minimize it, with like 4-5 tabs..and start up CSS, after about 25 min, im done playing..bring back up FF, and it takes a lil while to load all the tabs..i got 1GB ram, and and did al the tweaks..dont know what that was all about

What Firefox-Extensions do you have installed. The more you the slower it is to start Firefox and it may even slow it down some.
Best thing to do is go to start, programs, Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) and click on it to start it up in safe mode. If all runs ok and faster then it is one of your Extensions.
So disable them and close down and open Firefox in normal mode.
Now enable one Extension at a time and close Firefox down and open it again.
Keep doing this till you have the trouble and your know what Extensions is the trouble.
If you was using Firefox 1.5 but now using Firefox 2.x then also check to see if there is the same Extension for version two.
Also if you never checked for updates on your Extensions you need to because there updated for a good reason.
