Mozilla Thunderbird and Hotmail

    hi, i was just wondering whether i can setup mozilla thunderbird to receive my hotmail emails, just for convenience, is this possible?

    You will need a third-party program like Hotmail Popper. You have to set your incoming STMP address to "localhost" and your outgoing STMP address to your ISP STMP address (usually "mail.ISPname.com" or "mail.ISPname.net", etc.)

    You have to have Hotmail Popper running to check your mail or else you will receive an error from Thunderbird (unable to connect to the account, or something).
