I'm not sure what the setup wizard wants when it asks for server names for my email. I currently use my free yahoo account and thought it would be cool to try a desktop mail program. Please help. Thanks

Yahoo doesn't have a POP server for free accounts.
To be able to send and receive mail you need at least a POP & an SMTP server. Usually your ISP will provide you with an email(s) address as part of your package, as well as access to usenet groups.
EG: pop.isp.com, smtp.isp.com, news.isp.com, etc

ok, so i figured out how to have my charter account work with thunderbird. Now I cant find anywhere in yahoo that will let me forward my messages to my charter account. I,m guessing that i would have to upgrade my yahoo to a pay account to get the forward feature.
