    Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has tried using this browser and if it is a safe reliable way to go? I am kind of leary about downloading much of anything from the internet after reading everyones run ins on these boards and dealing with my own security issues.

I guess I can download it and use spyware and hijack this and some of the other tools to see if its safe but just wanted to see if anyone has any opinions on it.

Haven't used it myself, but lots of people swear by it. You would probably have less security issues running it, as most would be attackers seem to favour attacking microsofts products.

    Hello,
There is a new version of mozilla out 1.5 - it is fine - I use Mozilla and Opera 7.2 which I find excellent. I prefer opera because of the mouse gestures, which doesnt mean there arent there in Mozilla - I just havent found any.
Opera also works with my e-mail on the computer, whereas Mozilla used its own. Neither are a problem.
Give them ago, you will be surprised at the speed and lack of pop-ups etc. You will have to adjust the preferences to make pages work, but this is simple and not a problem.

Tried fire-bird and couldn`t find the fire:D ! Really don`t see what all the hype is about , and after waiting for it to load found out it loads pages just as slow. I do have opera as a third browser for some of it`s features , but i have found the fastest with the most features i use to be Crazy Browser .

Never used fire-bird, but use Mozilla under Linux and its good. I don't miss IE at all. Since Mozilla is supporting Fire-bird it must be good. But I guess I will wait till at least version 1 comes out. Let this one settle down before trying it.

Use any browser other than IE and you will not have to worry about security holes and new updates every other day  ;) :D
