why is it that when i try to add a folder containing 619 mp3 files to mp3gain it only adds 616 files? i even used a free mp3 converter to ensure that all of my files were in mp3 format before i tried to load them!

i realise there may be a problem of some sort with 3 files but what could it be and is there a relatively quick and easy way i could find out which 3 files they are to correct the issue?! :)

MP3Gain will only load files that have .mp3 as the file extension, so it sounds like there are 3 files in there with a non .mp3 extension. You could use WinDirStat to scan the folder and it will show you all of the different file extensions that are in that folder.

Then do a Windows search to find those files, if you have jpg files in there search the folder for *.jpg.
