Hi, I have a fully editable Access 2000 database on my network. I would like to give a group of users access to this database but read only. The database is currently spit into a back end and a front end. I would rather not use the built in security in Access because it gets messy and requires additional user administration. Is it possible to have 2 front ends with one editable and one read only?

As far as I know...give the users, or don't give the users, rights to do anything but view in the folder on the network that contains the MDB with the tables.
