Right, i have a database on a floppy which i was creating using Access at another computer.

So i go to Open file....A drive, finds icon with my file on it, try to open it and comes up with

    ''Disk or Network Error.''

    ''OK'' ''Help''

clicked Help and provided this for me:

I did create the database at School on the network......other than that I have no idea why it isnt working.

any help would be good, thanks.

    1. Never open files from floppies. You'll get in trouble eventually.

    2. First copy the database to a hard drive.
