When trying to access MS access databases stored on a network drive, access is crashing and not responding - getting debugging erros. However when you try from a different pc on the same network the database opens without a problem. Its seems about 40% of pcs in the organisation have this problem - all have the same build. Office xp has been uninstalled and reinstalled on affected pcs but the problem persists. Any ideas??

    Hi, welcome to the forum.

While I don't have Access XP (I'm still in 2000), I think that I can safely say we'll need a little more info before being able to help you out. What exactly do you mean by "debugging errors"? Some exact text would help. Also if you could provide a step-by-step description of what happens as you load: does any of the db come up before it stops?

One last thing: Are many users sharing the same file on a server directly? Or is there a front-end file on each client machine?
