I have noticed in my MS add/remove facility that one of the programmes listed is an old one called Panda total scan. When I click on it to remove it, it reappears in the list immediately. I cannot find any remnents of it anywhere else. can anyone help me shift this please

To remove the invalid entries from the Add/Remove applet

    1. Start > Run >> Regedit
    2. Navigate to
    3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
    4. backup that keys by exporting them to a .reg file.
    5. Look for the name of the program with the orphaned entry.
    6. Delete the entire listing for the software with the orphaned entry.
    7. Restart/Log off
