MS Combat Flight Sim3

The problem is the game will start with no problem, but at about 2-4 minutes in the game. It either kicks me out to desk top or I'll get a blue screen error. My OS is XP Home and I'm running a AMD Athlon 1.1G with 512 sdram. I hope some one out there has a solution.

Couple of things to try -

update your video drivers

Get DirectX 9.0
HERE

If that doesn't help there's a few other things to try but this is a good start.

Well, this might not be an immediate fix, but the No. 20 Issue 2 copy of PC Pilot magazine has a sidebar article on page 24 about fixing hardware issues with CFS3. I have yet to buy the game, but there are apparently lots o' problems with the game, even on comps with high horsepower. It mentions the use of the CFSCONFIG.EXE file, which may help you with your problem. Anyway, I recommend PC Pilot, it's a good mag that you usually can find at Barnes & Noble.
