ms-dos startup

    i hope some body is online that can answer this question right away.
    i accidently shut down my pc, and it was in restart in ms-dos mode, i can't get it back to normal, because i have no idea what command to give it after C/windows.

    Type exit then hit enter or push ctrl+alt+del at the same time

    tried exit and it just restarted in the same mode, the same result with ctrl/alt/dlete

    That should work,,,,,,try this one,,,,,,,,,,scanreg /restore and choose a recent date. Space after reg

    just tried it and restored from yesterday, but it still restarted in ms-dos

    Well,,,,,,,dang. The command is exit,,,,,what happens when you type it in and hit enter? Try windows an see if that will work

    it restarts and comes back on in ms-dos i'll try the other

    EXIT

    Exit = When in another command interpreter would exit you out of the new command interpreter into the original.

    Exit = When entering DOS from Windows, would return you to Windows 95 / Windows 98

    i've been all over that site and still can't get it to reboot in windows, i can get it started in safe mode, but there is no way to change the shutdown process from safe mode (that I know of)
