Is there any way to completely remove this browser from Win10? With some custom uninstaller from MS or something like that? In Settings the uninstall option is greyed out, see sshot1.
It won't even reinstall, see second screen:
Has anyone had a similar experience with this?
You cannot uninstall Microsoft Edge from within "Settings - Apps - Apps & Features" in Windows 10.
However, you can uninstall it from within "Tools - Uninstall" in Piriform CCleaner.
You also need to use the registry edit in step #3 of Allan's link.
That's the method that I use to keep Microsoft Edge out of all of my Windows 10 Pro 64-bit computers.
If you decide to use Piriform CCleaner, make sure to uncheck and decline to use any extras it offers during the install process.
If it’s the original Edge browser then this can be uninstalled but the new Edge cannot be removed afaik without possibly breaking the OS as it is embedded into Windows 10 now.
