How do you copy and paste a sheet or area from one file to a new file including row height and collumn spacing? If I do a regular copy and paste or special paste I don't get row and collumn height and spacing.

what version do you have? In Excel 2002 + you get a clipboard tab that pops up for pasting options that lets you choose

The easiest way is by going to Edit, Move or Copy sheet. At the bottom, put a check in Create a copy and at the top, select in To book, (new book). That will save everything, including headers and footers, as well as formatting.
