Hi folks, I'm off to help an old mate out with a squillion PC issues and one appears he can no longer view the subject matter any more!

Whilst all his appointments have disappeared, the reminders nonetheless pop up on schedule so I assume he hasn't deleted them somehow!

I've done the usual phone help thingo with him concentrating on selected calendars in the side toolbar and the various VIEW options but no joy! He doesn't use iCloud at all!

Of course the ever helpful sales guy in the store he bought the PC off many years ago says "Oh there is a problem with Outlook 2007 and I will have to sell you the latest MS Office Suite to correct it!" Geeeez …..

Anybody here have some ideas I can take along with me thanks or better yet solve over the phone?

    Thanks

    Hiya

Sorry for the lateness in a reply, these forums can be very busy. Are you still having this problem? If so, see if this helps.

Go to Start | Run (or type in the search field) and type this:

    outlook.exe /cleanreminders

    And press Enter.

This should clear all the reminders he has :)

    Thanks

    Thanks for that info!

Actually we’re kind of trying to bring back all his Outlook calendar items that have disappeared! The reminders are there but no entries!

I think I can share his iCloud calendar to Outlook as the former has all his appointments quite visible!
