I am having real problems with the Calendar in MS Outlook.
When I try to post a new appointment into the calendar I go to the day and time where I want to set a new appointment and double click. The new appoointment box appears and I fill in the details of the new appointment then click "Save & Close" ... all perfectly in order, then I go to the calendar page in question and there is nothing shown on the date and time I have set.
Strangely, there is a one line comment on todays date and time when I actually typed in the appointment????
When I go to the advanced toolbar at the top and go to the box that usually states "day/week/month" and click on the small arrow beside it, you get a number of choices which includes "active appointments" ....click on that and I can then see all of my future appointments including the one just recorded. All of my past appointments have also disappeared from each day back into the past, which is a real issue because I can't track back to former meetings etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi bsh376.

    WELCOME TO TSG!

I just want you to know that I'm pretty good with Outlook and have never seen anything like what you're describing. Please don't think your question is being ignored.

I suggest you try the following to see if you can maybe help yourself:

    Try Microsoft Technet's Knowledgebase:
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;kbhowto&sd=TECH&ln=EN-US&FR=0
    Choose Outlook (your version)
The fewer the keywords you use, the better. The fewer keywords you use, the more articles to go through. Two or three keywords is best really. Watch how many replies. The default is only 25. Might want to change to much more.

Try about the best Outlook site out there:
    http://www.slipstick.com
Use only one or two words in your search, I think.

    I hope this helps!

Oh...and before you do any of that, make sure you've got the latest service packs (I wouldn't go above #2 in Office 2000 though). And you might want to clean up your PC just to be certain: www.theofficeexperts.com/cleanyourpc.htm

Let me know how you make out.

I am having the same problem. More specifically. None of my reoccuring appt show up until I zoom to monthly view. Also, new appt do not show in the box until after the set time. Is this some "autohide" feature?
