MS Outlook giving unknown error

    I can't delete/move messages from the inbox, it pop out a box and tell me to restart outlook on the unknown error. what caused it??

    I notice that my personal folder size is almost 2GB, does outlook has a limit in file size?

    -You must have tons of email in your Inbox, Sent, Trash, Misc. ect. to have 2GB. There is a size limit. This could be your problem. Do a Google search to find out the size limit and how to archive folders for your version if you really need to keep that much.

    -or...In Outlook>go to Help>Detect and Repair...>follow the instructions.

    -or...Put your Office cd in your cd-rom>you'll see an option to Restore Outlook to it's original configuration. If you've customized your pref buttons, you will need to put them back to your liking. You won't lose your email. At least I didn't when I needed to do this to restore when something broke in Outlook.

    But I really believe your problem is with the amount of email you are storing.
