We are using Microsoft Outlook 2000.... on windows 98 machines...
    guru needed....
we have set Outlook up with Distributions lists... because they show up in the Address book list, along with the last names and you can send group email very easily.... works better than Categories...

However, here is where I need help... I cannot find a way to search or make searchable a distribution list! And we have about 75 in our business...so when looking for a group a person is participating in... I have to search each list by hand!

UGH:( Any help on programming Outlook will be much appreciated thank you.

If you are on an Exchange server you can export the lists to a comma delimited file and import it into Access. That is the most efficient way I have found by myself. Once it's in Access you can set up queries to filter members of whatever distribution list you want.
