MS Publisher 2003 - New problem with flashing images

    I use publisher lots!! A couple of weeks ago files I had used and new files would flash text and images. By flash I mean it will visually studder on and off for a few times then stop. If I zoom in or out or click or add anything, the images and text flash again. I feel like I'm working in a strobe light. I put the disc in and ran fix and it did not work. Working on XP.
