When signing on to Firefox, I get this pop up message: "GCLI is an experiment to create a highly usable command line for web developers. For a list of commands type help, or to show/hide commmands" It is located on the lower left corner of my home page.

I don't what prompted this message, since I am not a web developer. I have Adblock Edge to block pop ups. I don't know if it is a virus or something worse. Does know what this is an how to get rid of it? Is it a virus or a hacker?

    Thank you for any information

that's Mozilla Developer Network, or MDN. To get rid of that just do the following:

-click the small x at the right end to close it
    -Shift+F2
-"3-bar" menu button > Developer > (unclick) Developer Toolbar
-(menu bar) Tools menu > Web Developer > (unclick) Developer Toolbar
