msconfig/start up

    How do I delete unwanted items from my start-up list after going thru "System Configuration Utility" and checking the items...I notice the list is long and I would like ot delete the ones I no longer want from the list. Any suggestions? thanx

    Mike,

    As long as you unchecked them, no harm in leaving them on the list in case you ever choose to enable the program at stat up again. At least that is what I've done.

    I also have a program called WinPatrol that his a handy little utility that can actually remove programs from the list. The basic version is freeware and can be found by going here. It is a handy program to have.
