Hi stevecook

Windows 2000 does not have msconfig

You should be able to access the startup items this way:
Start > Run
Key in:
msinfo32
If msinfo32 does not work,
try:
msinfo32.exe

Or, access the System Information tool this way:
Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information

Under System Summary, double click on Software Environment then click on Startup Programs.

For future use, your Windows 2000 can have msconfig as an option:
The version for Windows 2000 is taken from Windows XP.
http://www2.whidbey.com/djdenham/Msconfig.htm
Windows 2000 users should download it (MSCONFIG.EXE) to C:\WINNT\system32.
The Help File (MSCONFIG.CHM) for Windows 2000 should be downloaded to the C:\WINNT\Help folder.
To use it, go to Start|Run, type msconfig and click OK.
Let us know if that works for you.
