msn folder is unused?

I am not running Windows Messenger and the msn folder in the Programs folder is chewing up 20 mb of disk. I suspect that this is the usual dutris left behind when deleting the Messenger program.

I want to delete this folder and its contents.

Please advise if this can be done. If not, what else is involved in removing these folder(s)/files.
