I got an e-mail from hot mail saying I am close to my storage limit, but i check my e-mail everyday, so while in hot mail I go into the junk-mail section(there was 85)and found several entries for non delivered e-mails to people I don't know and from people I don't know( my address was not the sender) with no message but some with size to them (one was 144KB in size)

I have an updated antivirus and it has found nothing and no spyware

what could be going on?

could somebody be using my e-mail address to send e-mails if so why no message

I have rechecked with my antivirus and did an online scan with house call and they both came up clean, so I am not infected. Why am I getting these non delivered e-mail notices if I am clean

I got four such messages today

G'day again willie_in_pr,

Glad to hear that your pute is clean. I am not an expert on viruses, but I will give my opinion anyway. The Worm is trying to get onto your system. It isn't there...yet. Apparently this one doesn't even require you to open the attachment to infect you, just opening the e-mail is enough.

Sounds like you are clean....you just need to be very vigilant. Any suspicious looking e-mails, especially these so-called " couldn't be delivered" ones...just delete them.

They are probably coming from another infected machine, somewhere in the world.

I would suggest you
1: Make sure you keep you AV up to date
2: Do a Housecall remote scan one a week, or more often if you feel the need.
Other than that, just be careful...and ride out the storm.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help
